Great League (CP 1,500)
Top 25 overall rankings from PvPoke. Top 10 rows are highlighted.
Great and Ultra League cap CP. A low Attack IV usually beats a 15/15/15, because it reaches a higher level for the same CP. Chase rank, not perfect IVs.
A Top 10 list isn't a team. Build a lead, a safe swap, and a closer, not three of the same role.

Top 10 notes
Lickilicky: Lickilicky is the meta's top Normal type, with excellent bulk, a spammy moveset, and powerful Shadow Ball coverage. It's a premier safe swap and a devastating counter to Ghost types in a meta where it has few hard counters to fear.
Tinkaton: Tinkaton is a top meta pick with its immensely powerful signature move, Gigaton Hammer. Its biggest drawback is its subpar coverage in Bulldoze, which lends a bait-dependent playstyle.
Altaria: Altaria's flexibility with Flamethrower gives it coverage against Steel types, and its defensive typing remains one of the best to counter Water and Ground types. It's seeing more play this season with the nerf to its nemesis, Wigglytuff.
Empoleon: Empoleon is the standout Hydro Cannon user thanks to its incredible pacing, Steel typing, and synergy with core partners like Altaria. Its lower stat product and struggles into other Water types haven't hindered its competitive success. The non-Shadow is typically preferred.
Quagsire: Quagsire has the best bulk and pacing of its competition, making it a top meta pick. Its moveset has shifted to Mud Bomb to hit Steel types, but leaves it more vulnerable to Flying. The Shadow is typically preferred.
Jellicent: Jellicent has everything you look for in a top Pokemon - excellent stats, typing, pacing, and power. Its diverse resistances plus the relative scarcity of Grass and Electric make it a centerpiece for team building. Its biggest flaw is its vulnerability to Normal types. As such, Jellicent sees more play in GBL than tournaments.
